Multi-zone luxury automatic climate control THERMOTRONIC (standard for V8 models) provides individual temperatures and a pleasant vehicle interior climate for driver, front passenger and vehicle rear. The system enables air to be directed in a targeted manner to the front seats, and via air vents in the B-pillars, to the vehicle rear, complemented by a compact booster located beneath the centre console. Rear-compartment passengers have a separate control panel at their disposal.
In order to ensure an optimum climate at all times, sensors constantly monitor sunlight intensity and the humidity of the air drawn in. In addition, a combination or active charcoal filter stops dust and pollutants. Apart from this, automatic mode can be adjusted to individual wishes with the three climate modes DIFFUSE, MEDIUM and FOCUS.
